Section 1 · The Hub
A free educational resource center and the home of Mendry’s verified provider directory — for veterans, family members, and caregivers navigating chronic pain, chronic disease, or PTSD and exploring whether state-legal, medical cannabis–aligned care belongs in their treatment picture. The Hub explains the two-hat clinical model, state cannabis law basics, VA Community Care mechanics, and how honest disclosure to your VA team protects rather than jeopardizes your care. Every resource here is education only — no medical advice, no product recommendations, no clinical guidance.
The VA does not recommend or pay for cannabis. State law does not provide VA-coordinated care. What exists in the space between them is a two-hat clinical model that allows a licensed physician to serve veterans in both a VA Community Care visit and a separate, state-law medical cannabis encounter — legally distinct, clinically coordinated, and properly documented so nothing falls through the gaps in your care plan.
Mendry educates veterans on how that model works, who the verified providers are, what your state permits, and how to use the Veterans Tool Kit to arrive at any clinical appointment with clearer goals and better questions — without ever needing to pay for guidance, create an account, or share protected health information with us.
Section 2 · Navigation Guide
Five steps that move a veteran from confusion to clinical clarity. Each step is something you can act on today — no cost, no referral needed, no system account required.
Know your VA enrollment status, your disability rating if applicable, and whether you qualify for VA Community Care — the access pathway that allows VA-authorized outside provider visits.
Cannabis law varies by state. Mendry’s state guides explain qualifying conditions, what a compliant visit looks like, and what activities remain outside VA regardless of state authorization.
Find verified, licensed clinicians who understand VA Community Care coordination and state-law advisory roles. Filter by state, specialty, and CCN enrollment status.
Download Mendry’s free Veterans Tool Kit — checklists and conversation guides that make clinical visits more productive by giving you two clear functional targets and a reassessment date before you walk in.
Search the Mendry directory — no account required, no referral needed, completely free for veterans.
Section 3 · Programs & Access
All Mendry resources are free to veterans. There are no tiers, no premium access, and no payment required at any stage. Three program areas anchor the veteran experience on this platform.

Section 4 · What to Expect
Transparency about what we do, what we do not do, and where the lines are drawn between our role as an educational nonprofit and your role as a veteran making healthcare decisions with your licensed clinician.
1
Mendry explains how systems work — VA access standards, state cannabis programs, the two-hat clinical model — at a policy and educational level. We do not provide treatment recommendations, dosing guidance, or clinical advice of any kind. All clinical decisions stay between you and your licensed provider.
2
Mendry does not sell, recommend, promote, or receive compensation for cannabis products, dispensaries, or brands. We do not run affiliate codes, discount programs, or product campaigns. Our editorial position on cannabis is clinically neutral — always.
3
Mendry is not a HIPAA-covered entity and never collects, transmits, or stores Protected Health Information. You can use every resource on this platform without sharing anything about your health, your diagnosis, or your care history with us.
4
Mendry is not affiliated with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, any branch of the armed services, or any federal or state agency. We are a Florida 501(c)(3) nonprofit operating independently. Nothing here represents VA policy or VA guidance.
5
VA policy explicitly protects veterans who disclose cannabis use to their care team. Disclosure does not put VA benefits, housing, or other services at risk. Mendry’s content will never suggest otherwise — because the evidence does not support that fear.
6
Every resource Mendry publishes is reviewed for accuracy, neutrality, and plain-language accessibility. No jargon walls. No hype. No agenda beyond helping veterans understand their options and arrive at clinical conversations better prepared.
Section 5 · Education Hub
Practical, plain-language education for veterans navigating VA Community Care, state cannabis law, and the clinical model that connects them. Articles, guides, and podcast content — all free, all neutral, and all produced without product endorsements.
